Raconteur Media Company wins a Pollie

Awards reflect hard work and talent.

Taking time to recognize an award is mostly a selfish endeavor.

At Raconteur, we recognize that we have terrific clients who trust us to put our talent to work on their online communications plans. Because of this, we proudly announce that the Association of American Political Consultants awarded Raconteur Media Company a Pollie Award at this year’s American Association of Political Consultant’s National Conference.

We recognize that we have great clients, and that we are their partners for crafting a vision that leads to victory. In this case, it lead to an award because we had the talent to deliver upon an excellent vision. Our clients give us great opportunities to work on great projects. Along the way, we appreciate that others, like the APPC, see excellence and award us for this work.

We like to thank all our clients, especially those drive us to produce excellence, and we'd like to thank the AAPC for the Pollie.

Raconteur earned this award for our online and social campaign strategy in the 2010 election cycle, where we worked with the Republican Party of Texas to unseat a powerful and entrenched incumbent - Democrat Jim Dunnam - in a Texas House race.

Dunnam, a heavily favored incumbent and one of the most powerful Democrats in Texas at the time, eschewed online tactics to campaign and reach voters, and instead believed he would cruise to victory like so many of his previous elections. Seeing the opportunity to educate and lock down voters, our team launched an aggressive online campaign using a microsite, advertising, social media and search engine optimization. In the end, we attracted more than 1 million visits from within the district. If you are not familiar with our team and our expertise, we invite you to contact us. Let’s see what kind of award-wining strategies we can apply to your next initiative. Thank you for your support and for your friendship! We tell stories… let us tell yours.
